yes i was wondering i had a pap smear down 3 years ago it was the first one i had that came back abnormal showing a mild case of hpv i was pregnant at the time i had further testing they never found anything after i had my son the test still showed...

You don't indicate what test was used for detecting HPV, and whether the repeated tests that were positive showed the same HPV genotype. The fact that two tests were positives makes it more likely that the results were real.... Read more »

Guidelines for Pap test in HIV+ woman

I have seen conflicting information on scheduling frequency for Pap test. Every 6 months or annually for those with normal results, which is teh recommendation? thank you...

HI all,

After an ASCUS pap smear (i.e. slightly abnormal), I was diagnosed with HPV. The doctor assured me that this was common and while it needed monitoring, many girls are able to kick these viruses by themselves. Sure enough, my next pap smear... Read more »
