There are many causes of elevated liver enzymes. My main thought is that in your case the high levels may reflect your recent HIV infection. Many more common viral illnesses can cause liver tests to rise for a period and then decline. So, it may... Read more »

The devil is in the details of your total lymphocyte count. I suspect given the CD4 counts you have now, that what you are seeing is an excellent immune response to HIV infection. What usually happens is you have an increase to some degree in CD8... Read more »
