It sounds like he is getting fairly good care and has a challenging situation which is often frustrating. If he is on an HIV or other med that aggravates neuropathy then strong consideration should be given to switch off that medicine if possible.... Read more »

Peripheral neuropathy would rarely be due to one of the drugs in Truvada/Kaletra but does occur. Switching to alternative meds is often preferred to keep HIV under control (important if HIV a major factor in the neuropathy and to minimize any HIV... Read more »
