Those symptoms would be a little unusual to be due to your HIV drugs. Toxic neuropathy usually centers on the toes/feet and then move up the leg. Fingers usually get involved about the time the entire foot is bothered. Many conditions can cause... Read more »

Localized nerve problems as you describe would usually not be due to either HIV or your meds but more often other conditions such as carpal tunnel (compression) or radiculopathy (also often from some form of compression). KH... Read more »

The early symptoms are numbness and/or tingling of the feet, especially the toes and sole of the foot. No one knows why this happens to HIV+ people, and I know of no data that say that vitamin B12 will help (although it certainly won't hurt).... Read more »
