I think I can taste blood in my mouth, although i have put a tissue in it, and a piece of cotton wool, and still can't find any signs of bleeding. Is it due to low platelet count? Any other people with the same sensations?

When Oral Thrush is present in true ARS form, does it go away after a few days/weeks? Or is it 100% necessary to get antibiotics to rid of it. Just wondering because of my extremely and unusually white tongue that has been present for some time now.

You dont mention whether you have been on those meds for a short or long time. Ritonavir boosted protease inhibitors can cause taste abnormalities (most often a metallic like taste) as well as loose stools or promote expression of fast bowel transit... Read more »
