I had needle stick injury from th eneedle disposal box, was 9mos old lying for long time, needle was insulin needle and lancets used to prick finger.i did start truvada but was found to have Hepb infection with only Hep Bcore and surface ab...

Hello,HIV post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) with Truvada (or anything else) was not warranted. A needle stick from a needle disposal box that is nine months old is not a risk for HIV transmission. I'd recommend discontinuing PEP. Follow up with... Read more »
