I've read in my med/surg book that HIV needs some sort of reaction in the body for it to start replicating itself once inside the blood stream. If this is true, how long would it take for it to begin reproducing?Also, wouldnt all the test guidelines...

Can a swollen lymph node be a sign of ars? I was have a 2 Elisa tests both negatives at two and three months(12 weeks) after risk, but at four month the lymph node turn up in my neck (no mores symptoms, no fevers)....I'm in the 6 months after risk...
