He is probably correct. Most of the HIV that is produced and destroyed is in the lymph nodes. Thus, as a result of this they get bigger or hyperactive. In people with high CD4 counts like you and low viral loads, this would not be an unusual finding.... Read more »

Are they tender to touch ?

Do they throb painfully ?

Does anyone know if you can make your lymph nodes swell by constantly checking them? I am very scared because I have swollen nodes behind my ears 6 weeks after a possible exposure. If anyone knows anything about this I would appreciate thier input. Read more »
