1. The key for the loss of appetite will be to make sure the cause is your medications, and not something else that can be specifically treated. If it appears to be the medication, then early on you can think about using something to combat nausea... Read more »

Loss of appetite

In the past 2 months I've lost 15lbs from 165 down to 150. My appetite is nonexistent, and nothing even sounds remotely good to eat. When I do eat, I'm only able to eat 1/2 of what I used to eat. Fatigue is a big factor also, too tired...

How soon after infection can Acute HIV infection symptoms show up?

What is the most likely time for ARS symptoms to occur? I had a low-risk but not zero risk incident and one day later diarrhea, it has gotten mostly better 3 days later but my stomach is still not completely back to normal. I have no other symptoms...

You're correct, it is complicated. I am not sure I have much to offer here. The symptoms sound very much "lymphoma-like". I don't know if a PET scan would be of value here. You don't indicate what his current CD4 count is.... Read more »
