i know this might sound like a stupid question but is it possible to pick up both HIV and HEP-C from one unprotected, penis/vaginal sexual encounter ? and if so, can this cause problems with an HIV test at 3 months ? co-infection ?

Glad you asked. Pegylated interferon has now been approved with the use of ribavirin for treatment of hepatitis C. It is much easier to take and better tolerated than the older interferon preparation. It must be taken with ribavirin to get the... Read more »

If by coq 10 you mean co-enzyme 10 then use of that supplement is generally OK for persons with HIV infection and liver disease though recommend reviewing all meds with your care team/pharmacist.Evidence for actual benefit remains minimal. KH... Read more »
