I have just found out that I'm HIV + and my 1st labs are cd4 425 and VL 52900. at this point my Dr. says that we do nothing, and I am to have new labs drawn and see him in 3-4 mounts. my question is with my VL of 52900 should i have labs done...

Probably not. Given your relatively good CD4 count you can afford to wait. It is important to have another set of numbers or two to see what your trend will be.... Read more »

Has anyone heard that LabCorp(one of the biggest Lab's in america) use's second generation test's??? WTF??
