The positive toxo antibody test indicates past exposure and not necessarily active infection. If your CD4 count is > 200 then regardless of whether your toxo antibody test is positive you don't have AIDS. Read more »

My husband was diagnosed with AIDS dementia on 8/7. He is considered to be in end stage AIDS. Doctors will not come back to discuss what this means. What is end stage and what can I expect? Please help.
