How long will my daughter hurt and feel sick?

Dr. McGovern, Hello I wanted to know if you could clarify something about Hepatis C? I just read a post from someone who posted on June 22nd. You said one wouldn't have to worry about testing for HIV out to a year unless they got ACUTE...

My husband has been told that he may infact have hepititas c..We have been married 3 yrs now. I have 2 small children from my prior marrage that live in the same house with us. My concern is for me and my children not to be infected with this virus....
