It is generally thought that the risk of acquiring blood borne hepatitis infections through sports is extremely low. You should be vaccinated against hepatitis B so this should not be an issue - as long as you have developed protective antibodies....

I tested negative on a standard ELISA test AND a DNA PCR test at almost 5 months post-exposure. The results were negative. Nevertheless, joint and node pain continues. I can't stop thinking that HIV is somehow hiding in my nodes and thus escaping...
