That is a great question. I too have a burning tongue and have seen several places that 1. It can only be HIV if you are male. and 2. Burning Tongue is not a symptom of ARS and only occurs later in the disease.

Can candida (thrush) be invisible? I am male and I have a burning sensation on the tip of my tongue that will not go away. MY H.I.V. exposure is minimal, but I guess, not impossible. Would it be too soon to get this 3 months after exposure? Read more »
