That is a great question. I too have a burning tongue and have seen several places that 1. It can only be HIV if you are male. and 2. Burning Tongue is not a symptom of ARS and only occurs later in the disease.

It sounds to me like you may have neuropathy, although this should have been seen with the nerve conduction study. It is reasonably common to have neuropathy associated with HIV, but neuropathy can occur in a number of different disease states... Read more »
