That is a great question. I too have a burning tongue and have seen several places that 1. It can only be HIV if you are male. and 2. Burning Tongue is not a symptom of ARS and only occurs later in the disease.

Can anemia cause burning of the tongue and lips? I also have a whitish color to by tongue, especially in the back by those big taste buds. I thougt it might be thrush be I have been told that you would have white patches on for checks and throat...
