Let's see if we can dissect this all. Your CD8 count is markedly elevated in response to HIV infection and that is a good thing. That drives your ratio down. CD8 cells are the main cell that fights HIV infection. Although it is possible that... Read more »

treatment within the first year

I have recently been diagnosed with HIV. My doctor tells me that I have only contractd the virus within the last year. My couts are 400/50,000. He is strongly recommending I begin Kaletra with either Epzicom or Truvada in order to stop the spread...
