Hmmmm. Not sure why you would need cozole to prevent PCP if your CD4 count is 380. What is the CD4 percent? If the CD4 percent is < 14% then perhaps it would be necessary with that high of a CD4 count. PCP stands for pneumocystis carinii... Read more »

is a hallmark of AIDS disease in the US and Western Europe. How is it possible that this widespread signature of AIDS in the West isn't seen much in Africa? The PCP fungus is as widespread there as it is in the developed world.Please comment....

IN HIV+s, PCP usually develops gradually. But once you are sick enough to need to be in the hospital, things can go downhill pretty quickly (by this time you may have had PCP for weeks to months).The typical indicators are: dry (nonproductive)... Read more »
