I think I am experiencing Thrush, is it possible for it to occur so soon after infection?

I developed hairy leukoplakia on one side of my tongue around chritmas time. It is still there. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long after you get this you have to go on meds. My t-cells were 450 in October. Vl undetectable w/o meds.... Read more »

Has anyone ever heard of someone getting hairy leukoplakia on their tongue (confirmed by biopsy) and that person not having hiv.

I have ohl and negative antibody tests and undetectable viral load tests.

Does anyone know when hairy leukoplakia appears if someone gets infected ? - The back of my tongue is white and,after having seen a doctor, he told me that it was not a fungal infection.
