HIV subtypes are not detectable by ELISA ... I have read Dr Steve say that the fourth-generation ELISA does not detect p 24 subtypes such as type 1 and MNO fail 40 to 60% detection by giving false negatives HIV2.The latter is another specialist... Read more » False neg Thailand
