A friend of mine recently told me that she has sex with a doctor who uses some kind of spray or lotion to prevent HIV transmission. He doesn't use condoms. Is there such a thing? I apologize if this simply repeats the question about...

According to "Desperate Housewives" tv show, condoms are only 85% effective in preventing pregnancy so I assume the same holds true for HIV infection. Read more »
