It's hard to make a diagnosis over the internet. Nothing you described to me sounds like KS. The only sure way to make a sure diagnosis of KS is to biopsy a persistent pigmented spot. It doesn't sound like your spot is very persistent.... Read more »

If someone has ks lesions on lower leg and also ankle swelling that also seems related to ks will these things clear up once on meds. I am presently not due to normal t cell count but am concerned that ks might spread if I do not get on meds....

Kaposi's sarcoma progressing despite HAART

I got a kaposi's sarcoma on one on my toe almst a year ago and it was treated with radiotherapy and it went away. At that point i started taking Atripla. My Dr. says Atripla would stop developing more KS but i had new ones in my back and legs....
