I have been on Intelence for about a year along with other meds. Does the meal before taking Intelence need to be a certain composition? I like eating a light salad for dinner. Should I be aware of the calorie/fat content?Dennis

The rate of myalgia/myositis with etravirine in clinical studies was very low (< 1%) so it can happen but generally would look for another explanation. rates of muscle disorders for your other HIV meds is similarly low. Looking at muscle enzyme... Read more »

I haven't seem much use of only etravirine + Truvada (etravirine usually used with boosted protease inhibitor such as darunavir/Prezista). Etravirine could decrease levels/effectiveness of the viagra/cialis drugs--not much publised data on that. I... Read more »

Thank you very much, Doc. I see. I will try again to take Kaletra but + Kiveksa, not Combivir. What do you think about this comb for me? What is more hard for liver, combivir or Kivexa? Some doctors say that Intelence is not a med for the first line...

Kivexa usaully as well or better tolerated than Combivir overall. Etravirine in the US can be used early or initially in treatment if the prescribing doctor feels it is warranted (little use in that manner so far since many other options available... Read more »

Anyone taking these two drugs together? One or the other?. I seem to be extremely fatigued and weak. Additionally I am off balance also have a marked increase in my need to take a lorazapam ( anti anxiety) . Anybody else have any of these problems? ... Read more »
