Cytomegalovirus is a virus in the herpes virus family. 5-nucleotidase is a liver enzyme that when elevated in the blood, indicates some type of liver injury. This could be related to CMV infection.... Read more »

I do not know what to think; the Dr. at the Clinic even was surprised. She did say something was worng but thinks that after a neg. ELISA at 5 1/2 months I "should" be able to rule out HIV "unless I have a rare strain.

guys, i was having this wild idea. if continous exposure of breastmilk to a baby can cause hiv; what if, you are hiv+ and take breast milk-meaning exposure in low doses. wouldnt that help develop an individuals immunity? reactions!!! Read more »
