I do not suspect that your hepatitis B is affecting your HIV testing.I would recommend HIV testing at 6 months after the exposure as well.HOwever, most patients who seroconvert are detected by now....

I tested for HIV at 24 weeks after exposure and I was negative. Should I test after 26 weeks just to play it safe, since technically 26 weeks is six months. Has anyone ever tested negative at 24 weeks and poz later?
