Hi,To you all dont think about HIV 2 and that ELISA dont pick up HIV 2, The test used in sweden are ELISA third generation test and are HV 1 combined with HIV 2 and and the accurracy is the same for both HIV 1 and 2 But also HIV 1 test in most cases... Read more » Elisa testing - 3rd generation

Does it test for HIV 1 and HIV 2? If you yourself, hadn't had an exposure to someone out side of USA but your partner may have, would that put you at risk for HIV 2?
