Once you are positive you are positive. Even if it were possible to lose antibodies and become seronegative you would still have evidence of virus in you as measured by viral load and other tests.... Read more »

Has anyone seen any statistic as to the number of cases where an HIV infection would not show on a standard ELISA or PCR because it is either a rare strand or whatever? Thanks guys.
