You don't mention if your HIV level is undetectable. Bone marrow function may be improved off the AZT so a switch from Combivir to Truvada (if kidney function OK) or to Epzicom (if HAL B5701 negative) might be worth considering. Androgel-dosed... Read more »

You may also want to discussing with your HIV specialist checking for protein, microalbumin in urine, levels of phosphorus in urine/blood, and other tests to determine fully status of renal function. Often a referral to renal specialist to look for... Read more »

It is very unlikely that any of the stuff that has come after HIV is HIV infection related, except for the thrush and recurrent pneumonia. I can't comment on why various tests were negative or positive. We certainly do see people with HIV... Read more »
