You don't indicate what tests were performed then that were positive and whether any such tests (particularly a HIV western blot) have been repeated, and whether your CD4 count and viral load have been monitored actively since....

I was told that you should treat all sex partners as if they have hiv. So how would you protect yourself if having sex with an HIV POZ person? Condoms! Play safe always!
