Tough question. I don't know of any info on wt loss surgery in a person with HIV. Your concerns seem very well founded to me. Also wt loss surgery is very difficult and associated with numerous nutritional problems post-op. Indeed the... Read more »

There must be hundreds if not thousands of individuals that are living and working abroad as expatriates that suffer from HIV. However, it seems as though most large international medical insurers are refusing cover for otherwise healthy individuals...
