Hepatitis C and HIV

Face swelling is not a common finding in advanced liver disease. It is usually swelling of the ankles that most people notice first. If he is having swelling of the face over time, his doctor will probably want to check for protein spilling into his... Read more »

follow up ( #1 Cause of Death?)

You said "In my practice most of the liver deaths have been due to alcohol hepatitis and hepatitis C". I started meds about 2 months ago and am concerned about liver function problems (although all my tests are fine- on sustiva, viread and epivir)....
