I've read where HIV and Hep C co-infection can cause a person to take longer to test positive. Does anyone know how true this is? I've tested negative at 3 months but I'm worried that if I'm infected with Hep C then HIV might not have shown up...

i know this might sound like a stupid question but is it possible to pick up both HIV and HEP-C from one unprotected, penis/vaginal sexual encounter ? and if so, can this cause problems with an HIV test at 3 months ? co-infection ?thanks regards peter Read more » coinfection hepb & hiv
