the variation between 2000 and 3450 is within the variability of the assay. We usually allow about a 2 fold variablity because of the assay. Thus your viral load did not decrease on it's own. It is possible that May was the month. He is correct...

If I am interpretting what you have written correctly it looks like your viral load is undetectable and CD4 cells are 691 without ever having been on therapy. Assuming you have had your HIV antibody tested repeated and you are indeed HIV-infected...
