Hello Dr,From what I understand the type of HIV infected by IV drug users homosexuals is more virulent than that of heterosexuals and more difficult to treat. More research is likely needed here or perhaps it is merely correlative data....

health volunteer

while volunteering at a hospital recently, i accidently touch the blood of an IVDU. there were no breaks in my skin n immediately wiped with alcohol swab & wahed with hibiscus scrub. what's my risk? please help. tanx. ps good job on this...

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question what is the official window period? And can anybody besides IV drug users and chemo patients not show antibodies before 12/13 weeks? Or is it impossible?
