Is there any risk of HIV or Hepatitis by stepping on and puncturing my toe in a swimming pool with someone elses earring? I did have to pull the earring out and there was some bleeding as it went in quite far. Thank you....

Someone had cut himself at the swimming pool and there were bloody footsteps on the floor (fresh blood). I think I accidentally stepped on the blood (I was bare-footed). Is this a possible way of infection? I didn't see any big cuts in my feet. Read more »
