Well I went to my dentist today and they did a measurment of my gums and determined that I have gingivitis. I have had a risk of hiv and tested negative at 4, 7.5 and 12 weeks. I have also read that gingivitis is a early symptoms of hiv. So my... Read more »

I've read that red bands around the teeth are one of the signs of gingivitis, which may be a sign of HIV infection. But does anyone know what white bands are? Is anybody experiencing this? Just curious..
