Medications and kidney failure

Have there been any studies correlating long term use of HIV medications to kidney failure? My daughter was infected at birth she didn't take medications until she was 4 1/2, time of diagonisous. She started having headaches about 5 years ago....

My husband was diagnosed with hiv & kidney failure about april last year. We found out he is not taking half of the medications people with hiv take. And his blood work is okay for someone with hiv. Why so? ...

Just recently, a number of people I know who have been HIV+ for more than 20 years have died of Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy(PML) and liver failure. I wonder if anyone else had similiar experience?
