If the blood bank said you might have hepatitis, you should take that letter to your MD and get tested for hepatitis B,C and HIV. It is possible that one of them might be a false positive. It is silly to guess, however, go get tested! DTD...

I know this site is about HIV but with HepC getting out of control shouldn't we suggest to folks to also get tested for that as well as the HIV ? There are more people becoming infected withHepC even if their tests come back neg for HIV.
