It is certainly possible for chronic hepatitis B to become active over time after a period of being inactive. I agree that you are a chronic carrier with a low level of virus in your blood.I also agree that I would not treat you at this time.... Read more »

She needs further testing to see if she has cleared her infection or if she has developed chronic infection.Even if she has developed chronic infection, she can protect her partner by having him get vaccinated. Also she can get treatment for HBV... Read more »
