People can certainly pick up hepatitis B or C at the same time as they get HIV. Actually, hepatitis B is many times more contagious (easier to get) than HIV. So it is possible to get both, either or neither from a sexual contact. I don't... Read more »

Recovered from Hep-B, however still have symptoms, very confused!

Dear Dr,I recovered from a severe bout with Acute Hepatitis-B 4 months ago and I cleared the surface antigen and developed surface antibodies and all my liver enzymes are back to normal, however my stools are still yellow and I cant figure out why....

Am I infectious

I was diagnosed with Hepatitis-B 9 yrs back and had a prolonged treatment done. According to the last test which was done 2yrs back, the HBeAG was Negative 0.21. This reading has gradually come down from +ve 290. I dont have any other tests done so...
