i know this might sound like a stupid question but is it possible to pick up both HIV and HEP-C from one unprotected, penis/vaginal sexual encounter ? and if so, can this cause problems with an HIV test at 3 months ? co-infection ?

Dr. Rodrigues says hep c can take up to a year to show the others say 6 months,does anyone know who's right,If it is a year has anyone with these ongoing symptoms tested for hep c up to a year? I was tested for hepc at 23 weeks

You can get HCV through sexual intercourse, but it is uncommon - about 1 to 2 percent. If you husband does not have detectable virus (eg, has an antibody but no virus) then his is not infectious because his body cleared the infection. You will want... Read more »
