Both are bloodborne infections and are no real risk to your children. Only blood is infectious. HIV is a sexually transmitted disease and safe sex is the best way to avoid it. This site has a huge amount of information on both diseases. DTD... Read more »

DTD - great work! Diagnosed with Hep C this year. HCV RNA Quant = 2,129,500. HCV Subtypr = 1b. Age 48. My gastroenterologist indicated no need to perform liver biopsy. Says 99 of time, derives same information he gets from specialty blood...
