Do not share your toothbrush or razor with anyone. Hepatitis and other infections can be spread this way, as well as HIV. Don't take any dumb chances. And if you're really worried, I suggest you get tested for HIV, hepatitis B & C,...

Even if your roomate is infected with HIV, it is highly unlikely that HIV would be transmitted to you by sharing a razor. Transmission through sharing a razor is not a likely event; there is no actual evidence that HIV has been transmitted this way....
