A single oral dose of fluconazole may not be sufficient to cure oral candidiasis-- usually it takes at least 3 doses. It is possible to control candida balanitis with topical antifungals.... Read more »

CD4 & refractory candidiasis

Is there a strong correlation between CD4 and candida infections? If I can get my CD4 really high (say 1500) is there a chance my body will fight the infection off by itself? (because I'm resistant to all the meds)
