Peripheral neuropathy, whether it's pain or tingling in the feet or hands, is VERY common and can be caused by many many diseases. It would be most unusual for this to be the first symptoms of HIV. I would highly suggest you get HIV-tested.... Read more »

For HIV - first test between 9-12 weeks

For HIV - first test between 9-12 weeks (by that time about 95% of positives come back positive). Then test at 6 months, and then at one year (by one year 99.9% of positives are positive).
