can you get a false negative result 12 month+ poss exposure?

Hi doc, I was possibly exposed 2 hiv in sept 2008, during the next 6 month I had geo tongue, oral ulcers, diarheah, swollen glands in neck , I then took 3 mirates home tests over the next 6 month period, all negative, but I doubt there reliability...

How common are these after 3 months and how the heck would we know if we had one if after your negative you do not get tested again? I do not understand this. Anybody have any stats on false negatives? Thank you everybody!! Read more »
