Conclusive Evidence Regarding PEP and the Window Period for HIV Testing?

I have read conflicting opinions regarding whether PEP extends the "window period" for HIV antibodies to appear. Is there any conclusive research? It seems reasonable that if PEP slows the replication HIV, it would take the immune system...
