Undetectable levels

I returned a HIV+ test when applying for an overseas residence visa. Turned out my CD count was down to 250 and viral load 37k. After 4 months on antivirals I was tested for reaction to drugs and my CD count is up to +500 and viral load undectable....

Undetectable but with high LDL levels

I have been undetectable for several year but during my last labs result, descovered that my LDL levels where sky-rocket. My previous labs overseas were normal but the one in the us not so much, I am also living at a high altitude level overseas....

Reason for high LDL levels needs to be evaluated (factors can include genetics, diet, and HIV drugs) so that treatment plan can be reasonably formulated. Diet and exercise is often first approach utilized. An assessment of cardiac risk is important... Read more »
