You should certainly be treating your HBV along with your HIV. It is very convenient now with 3TC, FTC, and tenofovir which are all active against HBV. Reyataz can cause increased bilirubin or jaundice if you have liver disease. However, while this... Read more »

I have used atazanavir in a number of hepatitis B infected patients without any problem. Atazanavir can cause an increase in indirect bilirubin levels (Like Gilbert's syndrome) which has not yet been demonstrated to actually cause any liver... Read more »

You are right to say that some people who are severely immunosuppressed (as you may be) can have a false negative HIV antibody test. In that setting, the best test to determine infection becomes a PCR test, or some other antigen detection assay.... Read more »

If you've tested positive for AIDS HIV or an STD it could mean there's another STD too. Get the standard STD clinic tests from a medical center clinic or your doctor.
