Would Celexa interfere with HIV antibody ELISA test result.Dr. McGovern, I got tested for HIV like ten days ago after eight months of exposure(EIA Elisa Antibody test). the result came out to be negative. If the exposure you were worried about occurred in October, then your antibody test should have been positive by June.I would not seek further testing at this point in time. As far as Celexa goes, this should not interfere with HIV testing.My advice...

I heard that some anti-allergic medicine (i.e piriton) will prevent the body from producing antibody...right?? Will someone take this medicine getting the -ve result for HIV even he/she is inflected. IF yes, need he/she stop to have those medicine...

Hi, would a hiv pcr test be best to get if you have ohl(hairy tongue on the tongue and white creamy cheeks)? I am past the 6month window period. Last negative was Jan 01. Last exposure was June 2000. Thanks and God Bless.Read more »
